CEO of Nepal Tourism Board Dr. Dhananjay Regmi awarded with Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Special award reckoning NTB’s role in revival and recovery of Nepal’s tourism industry in COVID -19 pandemic phase.Tuesday, May 30th, 2023

Nepal Tourism Board’s CEO Dr. Dhananjay Regmi has been awarded with PATA Special Award 2023 by Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) at a special ceremony organized to inaugurate the PATA Annual Summit and Adventure Mart 2023 beginning on Tuesday, May 30^th till June 2^nd in the beautiful city of Pokhara.

Handing over the award to the CEO of NTB, PATA International Chairman Peter Simone lauded the commendable role played by NTB for the revival and recovery of Nepalese Tourism industry that contributed in the national economy which was hard hit during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In his acceptance speech, CEO Dr. Regmi expressed his gratitude to the PATA International Chapter for recognizing all the hard works and dedication of NTB in the post COVID-19 pandemic for CEO Dr Regmi trying to bring the tourism industry back in business.

The CEO added that the felicitation comes as a motivation and encouragement to work continuously for the overall growth and development of tourism industry which is a backbone of Nepal’s economy.

Similarly, Director at Macao Government Tourism Office of Macao, China Maria Helena De Senna Fernandes was awarded with PATA Life Time Membership Award 2023, Associate Vice President of International Capilano University of Canada Chris Bottrill was awarded with Award of Merit 2023, and CEO of Asia China Pte.Ld Singapore Soon Hwa Wong was awarded with PATA Special award at the same function.

The program was attended by over 200 delegates and dignitaries from various Pacific Asian countries.
