Kathmandu, January 22, 2025 – The Eighth Myagdi Festival and Provincial-Level Agriculture, Tourism, and Industrial Trade Fair 2081 successfully concluded in Beni, Myagdi. Held from January 12 to January 21, 2025, the festival coincided with the Maghe Sankranti celebrations and attracted a significant number of visitors from across Nepal and beyond.
This year’s festival provided a unique platform to showcase Myagdi’s diverse tourism potential, cultural heritage, and local products. With over 30 stalls, the event highlighted authentic Myagdi products, traditional crafts, and locally sourced goods. Visitors were able to explore a variety of items, including handmade artifacts, organic produce, and indigenous delicacies, representing the region’s rich traditions and natural abundance.

Popular touristic attractions such as Dhaulagiri Base Camp, Rupse Waterfall, Khopra Danda, and the scenic Kaligandaki Corridor were prominently featured in promotional activities. Information about trekking routes, homestays, and adventure tourism opportunities further encouraged visitors to explore Myagdi’s unique landscapes.
