Kundalini Painting Exhibition at photoNepalMonday, May 19th, 2025
Nepal Tourism Board is organizing the single painting exhibition “Kundalini-2” as part of its regular #photoNepal series. Inauguration program was held on May 18, 2025 at the Board’s premises in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, the event also marked the official launch of the book “Kundalini Yoga”. The program was graced by Honorable Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Mr. Badri Prasad Pandey as the chief guest.
It featured the 13th solo exhibition by renowned artist Mr. Bhim Prasad Sharma and was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Mr. Naradamani Hartamchhali, Chancellor of the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, and Mr. Mahashram Sharma, Chairman of the National Examination Board. The event was chaired by Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi, Executive Chief of Nepal Tourism Board.
Speaking at the program, Honorable Minister Pandey praised the initiative of the Nepal Tourism Board, noting that such creative exhibitions play a vital role in the promotion of Nepal’s art, culture, and tourism. Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi, CEO, NTB reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to supporting artists and photographers and expressed a strong intention to collaborate further for the promotion of tourism. The exhibition is open to the public free of charge until May 24.
Alongside its regular exhibitions, NTB is also running a monthly photo competition through its PhotoNepal portal. In this competition, the top three photographs of each month are selected and awarded a cash prize of NPR 25,000 each. NTB encourages photography enthusiasts to submit images that showcase Nepal’s majestic mountains, rich heritage, and hidden natural beauty.
Since its inception in February 2016, the #PhotoNepal campaign has successfully hosted over one hundred art and photography exhibitions both within Nepal and abroad, continuing its mission to promote Nepal through the lens of art and creativity.
