Nepal effectively displayed its rich spirituality, cultural diversity, and scenic splendor at BITE 2025, BeijingSunday, June 29th, 2025

Beijing, June 29, 2025 – Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has successfully concluded its participation at the Beijing International Tourism Expo (BITE) in Beijing 2025, with a strong impression to travel trade representatives and the potential travelers of Beijing, China. The fair was held from 27th – 29th June at China International Exhibition Centre, Chaoyang district, Beijing. The fair successfully served as a significant platform for promoting Nepal’s rich tourism offerings and meaningful engagement of B2B networking in first two days and B2C interactions on the third day. 

Nepal stall was located at Booth B612 in Hall 6. The Nepal Pavilion attracted a steady stream of visitors throughout the expo. Both trade and visitors have shown their keen interest in Nepal’s soft adventure experiences, spiritual and cultural circuits, and short-haul getaways. Many trade queries revolved around connectivity options, trek routes, seasonal preferences, and value-for-money travel packages, indicating high demand from the high-end buyers. Nepal pavilion was honored with the “BEST POPULARITY AWARD” highlighting its exceptional visitors engagement in BITE 2025. 

Nepal Tourism Board conducted a dedicated destination presentation on the sideline session of the fair, emphasizing Nepal’s readiness to welcome tourists with its unparalleled blend of nature, culture, adventure, and hospitality. NTB requested China’s trade to collaborate with the travel trades and jointly create lifetime experiences for the visitors from China in Nepal. Nepal team also organized a short quiz session with the participants and awarded them with Nepali handmade souvenirs. 

The Nepal Pavilion was notable for its captivating depiction of the nation’s rich cultural and historical heritages, and exhilarating adventure offerings that arose from the majestic Himalayas. In addition to offering their finest packages, the private travel agencies emphasized Nepal’s ability to provide a wide range of travel experiences.

In the second day of the fair, Hon’ble Minster of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Mr. Deepak Khadka along with Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Nepal Ms. Roshan Khanal, Minister (Economic) of the Embassy of Nepal, Ms. Parvati Aryal and higher officials of the Embassy of Nepal visited to Nepal stall and added encouragement to the delegation. During Hon’ble Minister’s visit to the Nepal Pavilion, he praised the unified efforts of the Nepal Tourism Board and the participating companies in enhancing Nepal’s brand as one of the popular travel destinations in China and encouraged Nepal team for continues presence in China’s first and second tier cities.
