Nepal Gears Up for a Grand Showcase at ITB Berlin 2025Sunday, March 2nd, 2025

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is set to make a dynamic presence at ITB Berlin 2025, one of the world’s most significant travel trade fairs. Scheduled to take place from March 4 to 6 in Berlin, Germany, this global platform will highlight Nepal’s rich tourism offerings and strengthen its ties with the international travel industry.
Leading the Nepalese delegation will be Honorable Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Mr. Badri Prasad Pandey. Accompanied by 28 private sector tourism companies, Nepal’s participation underscores its strategic efforts to expand its tourism footprint and foster international collaborations.
Germany is one of the most important source markets in Europe, particularly for adventure tourism. In 2024, a total of 29,801 German tourists visited Nepal, while the figure stood at 26,980 in 2023. Not only for German travelers but for European tourists as a whole, Nepal’s participation in ITB Berlin holds great significance, serving as a key opportunity to attract visitors from across the continent.
The Nepal Pavilion will bring to life the country’s diverse attractions, from trekking in the Himalayas and exploring UNESCO World Heritage Sites to experiencing its vibrant cultural heritage and eco-tourism initiatives. Visitors can engage with industry professionals and discover Nepal’s growing appeal as a premier adventure and sustainable tourism destination.
With a keen focus on attracting European travelers, NTB aims to position Nepal as a must-visit destination offering unparalleled natural beauty, adventure, and authentic local experiences. The event also presents an opportunity for Nepal to reinforce its commitment to sustainable tourism while engaging with key stakeholders to enhance global partnerships.
