Nepal Makes a Strong Comeback in US MarketMonday, March 10th, 2025

09 March 2025, Denver, USA – Nepal Tourism Board along with nine private companies namely 1. Expedition Himalaya Pvt. Ltd. 2. Satori Adventure Pvt. Ltd. 3. Namaste Tourism and Holidays Pvt. Ltd. 4. Alpine Club of Himalaya 5. Ojha Holidays Tours and Treks Pvt. Ltd. 6. Three Sisters Adventures Trekking Pvt. Ltd. 7. Samrat Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. 8. Well Nepal Travel and Tours Pvt. Ltd. 9. Himalayan Guides Nepal Treks and Expedition P. Ltd., participated in Travel and Adventure Show 2025 held from 8 to 9 March 2025 in Denver, Colorado, USA. The Show witnessed a total of 250 exhibitors (international as well as domestic) and over 11,000 visitors in two days. The Nepal Pavilion located close to the entrance of the program venue received a good number of inquisitive visitors among whom most were found well informed about Nepal. 

In addition, a special program called FAM-TAS was organized on the first day amidst 55 US tour operators and all exhibitors from Nepal. It offered an opportunity for B2B meeting between Nepalese and US tour operators. Rishi Ram Bhandari, Member of NTB Executive Committee made remarks on Nepalese tourism potential and highlighted that Nepal is a safe destination for tourists. Similarly, Laxman Gautam, Off. The Director of Nepal Tourism Board made a presentation on rich and diverse tourism products and activities of Nepal and encouraged the US tour operators to organize tours to Nepal. One of the participants, Paula Seuffert, a tour operator from the US, was given a lucky draw prize of Everest Base Camp Trek that further drew the attention of all the participants of the Show.

Since Nepal participated after a long interval and in the post-COVID scenario, it ignited a tremendous interest in tour operators and the general public about Nepal. Quite a number of them expressed their travel plans to Nepal soon. US being one of the most important source markets for Nepal, participation of this kind is said to make a significant impact for the promotion initiative of Nepal Tourism Board.
