Nepal Receives Gold Award at PATA Annual Summit in UAEFriday, November 11th, 2022
NTB participated in the PATA Annual Summit 2022 in Ras Al Khaima, United Arab Emirates, from Oct. 25-27, 2022, in coordination with PATA Nepal Chapter and private representatives from Nepal. The Summit themed “ Reconnecting the World Sustainably" had participants from NTOs, Government sector and PATA international members. NTB was awarded and received immense appreciation for Sustainable Tourism Livelihood Recovery Program (STLRP), executed in partnership with UNDP to support the tourism workforce of Nepal during COVID 19 pandemic. At one of the programs, CEO Dr. Dhananjay Regmi made an insightful presentation on “Developing a Responsible Destination” with highlights on how Nepal could lead the sustainable tourism drive of Asia.
