Nepal Showcased its Tourism Excellence at India International Travel Mart (IITM) Ahmedabad, IndiaMonday, March 10th, 2025
Ahmedabad, March 9, 2025 – Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) along with 15 travel trade companies from Nepal have showcased Nepal’s diverse tourism offerings in the India International Travel Mart (IITM) Ahmedabad, held from March 7-9, 2025 at YMCA Convention Center, Ahmedabad. Nepal’s participation at Stall P5 drew significant attention from Indian travelers, tour operators, and media representatives, reinforcing Nepal’s position as a preferred travel destination for adventure, culture, and spiritual tourism.
The Nepal Pavilion, curated by NTB, highlighted the country’s rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, and adventure tourism activities, including trekking, mountaineering, jungle safaris, and pilgrimage tours as added value. During the mart, Nepal promotional videos featuring nature, culture and adventure were screened at the Nepal stall to catch the attention of the visitors. The mart provided a platform to strengthen tourism ties between Nepal and India, fostering collaborations among travel trade professionals and potential visitors.
NTB’s delegation to IITM Ahmedabad 2025 was led by Mr. Khadga Bikram Shah and accompanied by Mr. Jayshakti Sarraf and Mr. Narayan Bahadur Panta. They distributed tourism promotional materials of Nepal to the visitors at the Nepal stall with updates on the tourism products and activities of Nepal. Similarly, Kathmandu Holiday Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd., Airwings Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd., Shivalaya Holidays, Gujrati Samaj Saarc Tour & Travels Pvt. Ltd., Holiday Bookers Nepal Pvt. Ltd., Race Alpine Treks and Tours Pvt. Ltd., Nepal Adventure Guide Pvt. Ltd. Heritage Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd., Great Himalayas Treks Pvt. Ltd., Kailash View Tours & Treks Pvt. Ltd., Explore Vacation Pvt. Ltd., Enticing Himalayas Travels Pvt. Ltd., Soham Journeys Pvt. Ltd., Shakti Travels and Tours Pvt. Ltd., Mountain Tiger Nepal Pvt. Ltd. were the participating companies from Nepal. These companies had an opportunity of having business dealings with the potential sellers of India.
NTB’s participation at IITM Ahmedabad 2025 served as an initiative to attract more Indian tourists to Nepal, encouraging them to explore breathtaking landscapes, UNESCO heritage sites, and unique adventure experiences in Nepal. It also provided a valuable networking platform to the participating sellers from Nepal, enabling them to establish a beneficiary partnership with Indian travel and tour operators. The successful participation of Nepal in IITM Ahmedabad 2025 is part of NTB’s ongoing efforts to promote Nepal as a year-round destination for Indian travelers.
