Nepal Showcases Adventure Tourism Potential at London Travel Show 2025Monday, January 13th, 2025

London, January 13, 2025 – Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), in collaboration with seven leading private sector tourism companies, successfully highlighted Nepal’s exceptional adventure tourism offerings at the 25th edition of the Adventure Travel Show 2025, held at the Business Design Centre, London, on January 11–12. The event underscored Nepal’s world-class trekking, mountaineering, and niche adventure activities, drawing significant attention from global travel enthusiasts, media, and international tour operators.

With over 100 exhibitors under one roof, the Adventure Travel Show offered the ideal platform for visitors to plan their trips or explore new destinations. The event featured a diverse range of travel experiences, from UK-based adventures to journeys through jungles, mountains, rivers, and deserts across the globe.

The United Kingdom has long been a key tourist-generating market for Nepal, with thousands of British travelers visiting annually for both adventure and cultural experiences. Nepal’s well-established connectivity to the UK via major international hubs such as Doha, Dubai, Delhi, and Istanbul further strengthens the potential for enhanced tourism promotion and engagement in the UK market. Nepal’s pavilion featured seven prominent companies: Hotel Thamel Park, Accessible Adventure Private Limited, Touch Kailash Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd., Kailash View Tours and Treks Pvt. Ltd., Nepal Trek Ways Pvt. Ltd., Heaven Himalaya Treks and Expeditions Pvt. Ltd., and Trek Me Nepal Pvt. Ltd.

This successful participation builds on Nepal’s recent presence at the World Travel Market (WTM) London in November 2024, where NTB and other private sector representatives promoted Nepal as a year-round destination for adventure, culture, and sustainable tourism. These consecutive events highlight Nepal’s commitment to solidifying its position in the UK market and attracting a growing number of international tourists.

The Adventure Travel Show provided an invaluable opportunity for Nepalese companies to forge new partnerships with global travel operators. Visitors expressed strong interest in Nepal’s diverse travel experiences, including trekking, inclusive tourism, and sustainable practices. The enthusiastic response reaffirmed Nepal’s status as a premier adventure destination, setting the stage for increased tourist arrivals in 2025 and beyond. Additionally, the Nepal stall was visited by officials from the Nepal Embassy in the UK, further enhancing the country’s presence at the event.

Nepal Tourism Board remains dedicated to promoting Nepal’s unique travel experiences on global platforms, leveraging the UK’s strategic importance and strong air connectivity to drive sustained tourism growth.
