Nepal-The best Heritage DestinationWednesday, December 10th, 2025

Nepal Tourism Board, together with 12 leading private-sector companies successfully participated in the India International Travel Mart (IITM) from 4-6 December 2025 in Hyderbad. The three-day has convened leading stakeholders from across India and abroad in the city, with the event featuring over 200 exhibitors from more than 25 states and 10 countries, alongside several international tourism representatives and private travel enterprises.
The fair’s main objective:
- Focus: A major B2B platform for tourism boards, travel operators, airlines, hospitality brands, and technology providers.
- Participation: Featured over 250 exhibitors, 18+ Indian states, and international delegations.
- Key Outcomes: Provided opportunities for business networking, exploring new destinations, and discovering travel tech

The three fair days buzzed with excitement as travel trade representatives enthusiastically engaged with Nepal’s rich culture, adventure offerings, and warm hospitality—making our presence shine on this vibrant international platform.

Nepal also won the “Heritage Destination of the Year” award at the fair.
Alongside Nepal, other domestic exhibitors, international tourism boards such as Tourism Malaysia along with their travel partners, are highlighting opportunities for holidays, cruises, international weddings, cultural explorations, and luxury travel experiences.
Youth Outreach
Apart from marking the presence at the IITM 2025, NTB also initiated the youth outreach program where Ms. Shradha Shrestha-Sr. Manager interacted with almost 200 high school students of Shri Shantiniketan Secondary School and made a destination presentation on Nepal. The talk program was successful enough not only inform them about Nepal’s natural beauty, culture, and adventures, but also spark the desire to explore, learn, and travel to Nepal in the future.
