Nepal Tourism Board Taps into India’s Growing MICE TourismFriday, January 10th, 2025

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) engaged with key stakeholders in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism sector during an exclusive event in New Delhi on January 10, 2025, organized by Optimice Events. Focused on one-on-one business exchanges, the event highlighted Nepal’s potential as a premier MICE destination.

With India’s MICE sector projected to grow by 8% in 2025, Nepal is well-positioned to attract Indian corporates and event planners, thanks to its close proximity, diverse tourism offerings, and improved infrastructure, including upgraded airports and the arrival of international hotel chains.

India remains Nepal’s top source market, and the spillover from India’s “Meet in India” campaign is expected to benefit Nepal, offering unmatched opportunities for MICE tourism growth in South Asia.
