Nepal Welcomes the World of Ink: 12th International Nepal Tattoo Convention in KathmanduTuesday, April 8th, 2025

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is proud to promote one of the most vibrant and culturally dynamic events of the year — the 12th International Nepal Tattoo Convention, being held from April 11–13, 2025 (29–31 Chaitra 2081) at Heritage Garden, Sanepa.

This year, the convention is bigger than ever, welcoming over 200 tattoo artists from 23 countries, with more than 90 booths showcasing world-class tattoo craftsmanship. The event promises to be a melting pot of art, identity, and cultural expression, positioning Nepal as a unique destination not only for adventure and heritage but also for global subcultures like tattoo artistry.

Key Highlights of the Convention Include:

  • Live tattoo sessions from some of the best international and local artists
  • Tattoo competitions and showcases
  • Musical performances and DJ sets
  • Art exhibitions, handicraft stalls, and live painting
  • Merchandise and apparel vendors
  • Food and drinks stalls, including a cocktail bar

Organized by Mohan’s Tattoo Inn with promotion of NTB, the event brings together artists, travelers, and art lovers under one roof — celebrating ink as a form of global storytelling.

NTB believes events like this enhance Nepal’s reputation as a versatile and welcoming destination, especially among the youth and creative travelers. With growing international participation, the Nepal Tattoo Convention continues to be a powerful platform to promote Nepal’s hospitality, artistic spirit, and cultural richness.

Let the world witness Nepal’s stories — one tattoo at a time.
