NTB Holds Meeting with SALEM Tour Operators’ Association Delegation from South IndiaSaturday, February 15th, 2025

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) organized a meeting with a 19-member delegation from the SALEM Tour Operators’ Association (STOA), South India on February 14, 2025. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi, CEO of NTB, who highlighted Nepal’s immense tourism potential and the growing interest from the Indian market.

During the meeting, Ms. Nandini Lahe Thapa, Senior Director, Tourism Marketing & Promotions Department, extended her appreciation for STOA’s participation and emphasized Nepal’s diverse tourism offerings. Mr. Sunil Sharma, Officiating Director, PR & Publicity, delivered an insightful presentation on Nepal’s tourism landscape, showcasing the country’s unique destinations, adventure opportunities, and spiritual experiences tailored for Indian travelers.

Addressing the delegation, NTB CEO Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi remarked, “Nepal and India share deep-rooted cultural and historical ties, and the Indian market remains one of Nepal’s most significant sources of tourists. The meeting concluded with an interactive discussion on strengthening tourism ties and exploring collaborative initiatives.
