NTB Welcomes New ChairmanSunday, January 19th, 2025
Kathmandu, January 19, 2025 – Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) hosted a special program today to warmly welcome Mr. Binod Prakash Singh, the newly appointed Chairman of NTB and Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA).
The event was graced by the NTB officials, including Joint Secretary, MoCTCA, Ms. Indu Ghimire and NTB Board Member Mr. Madan Acharya.
Addressing the gathering, President of the NTB Employees’ Organization, Mr. Kundan Sharma Mishra, underscored the importance of streamlining the International Program Implementing Procedure. He expressed confidence that such a move would strengthen NTB’s operational framework and pave the way for enhanced efficiency.
NTB’s CEO, Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi, delivered an insightful presentation on the organization’s functions and ongoing initiatives. He emphasized NTB’s continued efforts to promote Nepal as a premier global destination and outlined strategic promotional activities designed to elevate the country’s tourism industry.
In his remarks, Chairman Mr. Binod Prakash Singh reaffirmed his commitment to procedural reforms aimed at benefiting the tourism industry and enhancing NTB’s effectiveness. He stressed the ministry’s dedication to supporting NTB in achieving its goals and fostering sustainable growth in the sector.
The program concluded with a collective commitment to strengthening Nepal’s tourism industry under the dynamic leadership of the new Chairman and Secretary.
