CEO of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) Dr. Dhananjay Regmi met with Swami Ramdev, Acharya Bal Krishna along with Hon’ble Minister of Forestry Department of Uttarakhand Subodh Uniyal and Shri Siddhananda Muni in Haridwar on July 8, 2022. Nepal’s enormous potential as a spiritual and wellness destination was discussed during the meeting.
As proposed earlier, Swami Ramdev kindly consented to CEO Dr. Regmi’s request to support Nepal tourism as a Goodwill Ambassador. Official ceremony to formalize the same will be organized in Kathmandu in September 2022. Working with Swamiji is expected to enhance the image of Nepal as a center for yoga, meditation, and a choice destination for the wellness of body, mind and soul.
CEO Dr. Regmi also met with representatives from Dehradun Travel Association of Uttarakhand in India, to discuss regional tourism possibilities. Facilitating movement from Dehradun to Nepal via Far West Nepal is expected to increase tourist arrival from the region to Nepal.
