Successful Conclusion of Nepal’s Participation in Vakantiebeurs 2025, UtrechtMonday, January 13th, 2025

Nepal’s participation in the 54th edition of Vakantiebeurs 2025 in Utrecht, Netherlands, concluded successfully on January 12, 2025. Nepal Tourism Board led a dynamic trade delegation comprising The Alpine Club of Himalaya, Apoorva Tours and Treks Pvt. Ltd, Journey DMC, Kantipur Holidays P. Ltd, Satori Adventures Pvt. Ltd, and Snowy Horizon Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd. Together, they showcased Nepal’s rich tourism offerings—spanning culture, nature, and adventure—for unforgettable lifetime experiences.

Themed “Around the World in One Day,” this year’s Vakantiebeurs attracted a significant increase in visitors, with a 15% rise in both trade and public attendance compared to last year. Nepal’s presence at Vakantiebeurs 2025 provided an excellent platform to rekindle old connections and forge new partnerships, effectively promoting the country to both potential and repeat visitors.

The Dutch market is experiencing a robust recovery in outbound travel, particularly to Asia, following the post-COVID lull. The striking yellow Nepal Pavilion stood out, attracting eco-conscious travelers and offering a key platform to promote Nepal’s adventure tourism, cultural heritage, and sustainable travel initiatives. The event reaffirmed Nepal’s position as a must-visit destination, captivating attendees with its pristine landscapes and rich, immersive experiences.

The Nepal delegation was led by NTB Senior Director of Tourism Marketing, Ms. Nandini Lahe Thapa, and Senior Officer Ms. Rikhi Maya Rai.

Vakantiebeurs 2026 is scheduled to take place from January 7–11, 2026.
