Tourists from 46 Countries Visited Manang in WinterSunday, February 16th, 2025

Foreign tourist arrivals in the Himalayan district of Manang have remained consistent even during the winter season. In January alone, 618 tourists from 46 different countries visited Manang, reflecting a positive trend in low-season tourism.
With the Chinese New Year holiday, the highest number of visitors in January came from China, totaling 199 tourists. Likewise, 106 tourists from India also explored the region.
In previous years, international tourist movement during the winter season was relatively low. However, this year, the trend indicates a steady increase, reinforcing Nepal’s appeal as a year-round destination.
Nepal Tourism Board remains committed to promoting sustainable and all-season tourism in Himalayan regions like Manang, ensuring visitors experience Nepal’s diverse offerings throughout the year.
