Trees planted at TIA New Terminal as part of the VNY 2020 initiative for a greener KathmanduWednesday, June 26th, 2019

One hundred and fifty saplings of Weeping Bottle Brush Trees along with 30 other species were planted at the Tribhuvan International Airport New Arrival Terminal as a part of the Visit Nepal Year 2020 initiative to add to the greenery of the city with the objective of making it more welcoming and enduring for locals and tourists alike. The program was led by Tourism Secretary Mr. Mohan Krishna Sapkota along with members of the VNY 2020 officials including Mr. Suraj Baidya – National Coordinator of VNY 2020, Ms. Nandini Lahe Thapa – Sr. Director of NTB, and Ms. Srijana Rana – President of Hotel Association of Nepal.
