Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) expresses profound sorrow at the passing of esteemed wildlife photographer, Chungba Sherpa. His unwavering dedication to capturing Nepal’s diverse fauna has been an inspiration to many.
Sherpa’s relentless pursuit of excellence led him from the heat of the Tarai to the cold of the Himalayas, capturing stunning images of elusive creatures like the snow leopard and the Bengal tiger.
NTB CEO Deepak Raj Joshi recalled, “Chungba Sherpa was a true nature lover who showed us wildlife to the fullest extent. His work not only showcased the beauty of our natural heritage but also played a pivotal role in promoting Nepal as a premier destination for wildlife enthusiasts.”
His legacy will continue to inspire future generations of photographers and nature lovers. NTB extends its deepest condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.
