TTF Bengaluru 2023 Concludes as the Year of Commencing OptimismSunday, February 19th, 2023
Regaining its momentum in the post-Covid pandemic era, the travel and tourism industry is back on track even with the signal of exceeding the pre- pandemic level. The outbound travelers from India is on the surge and it is estimated that the outbound trip count form India will reach 29 million by 2025. The signs of this positive prospect is realized in the robust optimism of the travel trade sector performed during the TTF Bengaluru, taking place on 17 th , 18 th and 19 th February, 2023 at Palace Grounds, Tripuravasini. In the show, more than 120 exhibitors form 4 countries and 20 Indian states participated enthusiastically. The inauguration program of TTF Bengaluru took place in the august presence of Ananda Singh, Minister for Tourism, Ecology & Environment, Government of Karnataka and Kapil Mohan, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Government Tourism Department, Government of Karnataka, travel industry leaders, along with other dignitaries. Nepal Tourism Board along with 15 travel trade companies and with Nepal Airlines have participated in the fair. TTF has been providing an annual marketing platform and an opportunity to network with travel trade since 1989.
Riding high on the rich legacy of travel and tourism exchange in South Asia, the TTF 2023 concluded at Palace Grounds, Tripuravasini. The three-day tourism event offered an extraordinary performance of B2B and B2C business dealing and queries. The show provided a comprehensive platform for international buyers and tourism professionals from across tourism and hospitality industry to exchange ideas on innovations and trends to stabilize the revival of tourism and accelerate the growth, both regional and international. The show was furnished with the sideline events of conferences among other.
In the light of the remarkable recovery of tourism in 2022, Nepal is looking at 2023 as a great year of recovery and rebuilding of tourism. India, being the largest generating source market to Nepalese tourism, the regional tourism is key to recovery of the sector and TTF 20233 has contributed in building and facilitating contact, business deals and in encouraging partnerships among the stakeholders. The expo has received widespread positive acclaim from the industry, including support from various entities such as the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Indian and International Tourism Boards, global travel trade bodies, airlines, hotels, wellness resorts, cruises, theme parks, cinema locales, corporate travel, investors, and wedding planners amongst others.
Nepal is well connected with Indian city of Bengaluru with Nepal Airlines with direct flight. This has added value among the consumers and trade interested to travel Nepal. Good inquiry regarding Nepal, Nepalese tourism products were shown among the travel inquisitives. Different Nepalese tourism products were attractive among the different strata of consumers which is a good signal for Nepalese tourism industry to cash into. It implies that the segmented marketing was seen as a must for Nepal Tourism Board in the days to come. Nepal was awarded with Most Promising New Destination award by the organizers which paid the respect to the innovation and initiatives’ carried by the Nepal government, Ministry of Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation, Nepal Tourism Board, and Public and private tourism stakeholder.
The TTF series – India’s oldest and largest travel trade show network, is focused on providing the most effective marketing platforms to promote tourism in the major travel markets in India, and the 2023 series kick started with TTF Bengaluru. Bengaluru being India’s Silicon Valley and one of the biggest travel markets in South India, was the perfect place to stage a show of this stature – more than 4,000 travel trade visitors and travel enthusiasts thronged the show floor over the three days; bearing testament that it was a perfectly timed show right before the summer vacation travel season. Nepal participated in TTF Bengaluru as a partner country. Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom and Vietnam, and from states namely Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, comprising of travel agents, tour operators, hospitality chains, DMCs, attractions etc.
TTF Bengaluru was reserved for the travel trade on the first day and the first half of the second day and was open for all thereafter. Apart from being the center point for networking for the travel trade industry, the show also provided the right platform for general visitors and travel-lovers to explore hundreds of destinations and travel options, and get the best deals and packages for the upcoming summer vacations, all under one roof. Ultimately, the show concluded with the positive note and optimism.
