Past Week Events
With the prime objective of promoting Nepal as a lifetime destination among the “summer holiday” high-end Indian audience, Nepal Tourism Board has launched a consumer-focused promotional campaign in partnership with Ola Cab.
Fifteen companies from Nepal participated in the Nepal China Sales Mission organized in Changsha, Guangzhou and Chengdu. The event saw an overwhelming response from Chinese travel and trade companies and media alike.
The VNY2020 Main Committee Meeting under the patronage of Rt. Hon. Prime Minister of Nepal, Mr KP Sharma Oli, at the Prime Minister’s Office.
The national campaign Visit Nepal 2020 kicked off with a soft opening in the lake city of Pokhara.
Nepal Tourism Board coordinated Nepal’s participation at the China Outbound Travel and Tourism Market (COTTM) in Beijing from April 15 to April 17 along with 8 travel and hospitality companies from Nepal.
Nepal Tourism Board officials promoting #VisitNepal2020 at the 9th Bangladesh Travel & Tourism Fair 2019, which was held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in Dhaka, Bangladesh from April 18 to April 20.
“Some journeys are worth stepping out of one’s comfort zone,” Manisha Koirala tells us as she recalls her experience of completing the Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek which was arranged in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board. Despite her fears, she completed the treacherous trek and fulfilled her childhood dream of touching the base of the world’s tallest mountain. She further adds, “The excitement of waking up in the morning and looking at the magnificent mountains surrounding you is just priceless. I felt goosebumps.”
