Sustained Growth in Visitors’ Arrival in the First Four Months of 2019
 

A total of 445,109 international tourists visited Nepal in the first four months (January-April) of 2019, a cumulative increase of 15.3 % over the same period in 2018. According to the Immigration Department (its offices) 362,840 international visitors came by air and 82,269 came overland in first four months of 2019.

NTB Hosts Corporate Indian Professionals for Fam Tour

Nepal Tourism Board in partnership with Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza successfully hosted a familiarization tour for a group of managers from renowned corporate houses of India along with their family members and tour operators from 16th May, 2019 to 19th May, 2019. NTB hosted the 3 nights – 4 days familiarization tour for the group of 22 guests with the aim of promoting Nepal as a MICE tourism destination in India and also with the objective of promoting Visit Nepal Year 2020. An interaction session was held with the guests of FAM tour at NTB’s office on 17th May, 2019 to discuss the prospects of MICE tourism in Nepal for Indian corporate clients along with the briefing of the upcoming campaign of VN 2020.
