High Level Delegation of the International Relations Committee Parliamentary Assembly visits VNY2020 Secretariat

The International Relations Committee chaired by Hon’ble Pabitra N. Kharel and all the members including Ex-Prime Minister Hon’ble Madhav Kumar Nepal, Hon’ble Pushpa Bhusal, Hon’ble Renuka Gurung, Hon’ble Agni Prasad Sapkota, Hon’ble Dr. Deepak Prakash Bhatt, Hon’ble Sarala Yadav, Hon’ble Sanu Siura, Hon’ble Dibya M. Rajbhandari, Hon’ble Uma Regmi and Hon’ble Suraj K. Dura, visited the VNY2020 Secretariat on June 10 at the invitation of the National Program Coordinator, Mr. Suraj Vaidya, for a detailed briefing on the plans and progress of the VNY2020 campaign.

Nepal Sales Mission in Hanoi 2019 Concludes Successfully

With Nepal and Vietnam agreeing to work together to promote trade, investment, tourism, and people-to-people contact in both countries, it is high time to gear up for B2B operations. This historic moment took place during Right Hon’ble Prime Minister of Nepal, Mr. K P Oli’s 5-day visit to Vietnam from June 9 to 13 at the friendly invitation of Right Hon’ble Prime Minister of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

 

Nepal Sales Mission in Phnom Penh 2019 Concludes Successfully
The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), in cooperation with the Nepal Embassy in Bangkok and in coordination with Society of Travel and Tour Operators Nepal (SOTTO-Nepal), organized a Nepal Sales Mission in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on June 12, 2019 to promote Nepal as a “Fountain of Buddhism” as well as a premier holiday destination for the Cambodian market.
 

VisitNepal2020 Campaign Formally Launched in Delhi

As part of its goal to attract 2 million tourists by 2020, Nepal Tourism Board formally launched Visit Nepal 2020 campaign in Delhi on June 12, 2019. The event saw an overwhelming attendance of Indian travel trade, media and corporate houses.

The Nepal Tourism Board has appointed Indian spiritualist and author Shree Shivkrupanand Swami as a goodwill ambassador for the Visit Nepal Year 2020 campaign.

 

Visit Nepal Year 2020 promoted at 13th International Travel Expo
Nepal participated in the 33rd International Travel Expo (ITE) and the 14th MICE Travel Expo in Hong Kong from June 13-16, 2019. Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) participated in the fair with six tourism companies as co-exhibitors representing Nepal in the global event and exchange programme.
