NTB Updates the Key East Indian Outbound Tour Operators on Nepal’s Tourism Products

In a bid to update the key East Indian Outbound Tour Operators on the Nepalese tourism products, Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) organized Destination Nepal Presentation Event in the cities of Raipur, Ranchi & Bhubaneswar on July 1st, 3rd and 5th, 2019 respectively. The programs in each city primarily focused on orienting the Indian travel trade about the new and upcoming Nepalese tourism products and services for the taste of prospective Indian travellers.

Digital Promotion Skill Development Trainings in Provinces 1 and 5

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), in coordination with Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA), organized one-day training sessions on digital marketing on July 1 and July 2, 2019, for tour operators of Province 1 and Province 5, respectively, to enhance their skills in digital marketing and communication. Tour operators and travel agents from Ilam, Dharan, Kakadbhitta, and Biratnagar attended the training in Province 1, while agents from Palpa, Butwal, Lumbini and Bhairahawa attended the Province 5 event.

Siddhartha Art Gallery will be hosting a unique digital prints exhibition titled TOYGRAPHY by Sunny Shakya from July 12 till July 24, 2019. The exhibition will feature photographs in different settings from the point of view of toys or action figures. France – Nepal Photo Exhibition – July 16 – July 31

Alliance Française, in partnership with The French Embassy, Vino Bistro, and Himalayan French Cheese, will be organizing a painting exhibition to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the bilateral relationship between Nepal and France at the Alliance Française de Katmandou on July 16, 2019. The exhibition will feature talented Nepali and French painters Kiran Manandhar, Sagar Manandhar, Vincent Gréby, and B.K Nar Bahadur.

KATHMANDU KORA CYCLING CHALLENGE 2019 (#KORA19) – 20TH JULY

In Buddhism and Hinduism a Kora is a circumambulation, done clockwise, usually around a religious structure. It is said that a single Kora around Mt. Kailash in Tibet for example is enough for one lifetime. Kathmandu, with its myriad religious structures is a perfect location to do a circumambulation. It boasts two of the most revered Buddhist Stupas of Boudhha & Swoyambhu, and one of the top eight temples for Hindus worldwide, Pashupatinath.
