Promoting Nepal’s Tourism in Dhaka

Himalaya Airlines has started its operation in the Kathmandu-Dhaka sector (3days/week) from July 22, 2019. The maiden flight that landed in Dhaka was welcomed by Hon’ble State Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr Dhan Bahadur Budha, Chairman of Civil Aviation Authority of Dhaka, HE Ambassador of Nepal to Dhaka and his counterpart based in Kathmandu. With increasing economic growth, Bangladesh has become an important outbound market in SouthAsia and a very potential market for Nepal’s tourism. This connectivity is expected to increase tourist arrivals to Nepal.

NTB Organized Trade Orientation in 4 Indian Cities

NTB successfully organized trade orientation of travel and tour operators in 4 Indian cities showcasing new development and products offered by Nepal focusing on VNY 2020 campaign and also showcased the newly launched ‘Brand-Nepal’. Furthermore, NTB also participated in Travel Wedding Show, Mumbai organized by DDPL.

France – Nepal Photo Exhibition – July 16 – 31
 
Alliance Française, in partnership with The French Embassy, Vino Bistro, and Himalayan French Cheese, will be organizing a painting exhibition to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the bilateral relationship between Nepal and France at the Alliance Française de Katmandou on July 16, 2019. The exhibition will feature talented Nepali and French painters Kiran Manandhar, Sagar Manandhar, Vincent Gréby, and B.K Nar Bahadur.

 

Janai Purnima – August 15
 
Janai Purnima is a Hindu festival celebrated all over the country, with family get together and feasts of Kwati or sprout lentils. This day is also a harbinger of rejuvenation with Hindu men renewing their ‪Janai and people flocking to Shiva temples in different parts of the country. It is a big day to observe Shaman culture.

 

Life in Analogue – August 04 – 21
 
Siddhartha Art Gallery invites you to an exhibition of Photography “Life in Analogue”. Ashoke Rana, CEO of Himalayan Bank Ltd. will open the exhibition on Sunday, 4th August 2019  at 5:30 pm at Siddhartha Art Gallery, Baber Mahal Revisited, Kathmandu, Nepal. The exhibition will remain open until August 21, 2019

To mark the World Photography day there will be a talk series on the following days :
