NTB & Kiwanis Sign Up for Asia Pacific Annual Conference

 
NTB and Kiwanis International signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to organize the Asia Pacific Annual Conference 2020 from Mar. 5 – Mar. 7, 2020, in Kathmandu. The conference has helped to promote MICE Tourism in Nepal and also increase the confidence level of tourists regarding the current situation.

Holi – Fagu Purnima

Spring not only brings new life but also the festival of Holi, the Hindu festival of colors. Also known as Fagu Purnima, the festival is celebrated on the full-moon day at the end of the month of Falgun, which falls between mid-February and mid-May. Celebrated by rubbing colored powder on each other’s faces, the use of colored water to spray on each other is also prevalent. The harbinger of good and balmy spring weather, Holi is celebrated all over Nepal but more so in the southern Tarai region.

Feb. 20 – Mar. 10, 2020

 
Siddhartha Art Gallery invites you to “NOWTHERE,” an exhibition of artworks by artists from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Pakistan. Ms. Ritu Vaidya, Managing Director of United Traders Syndicate Pvt. Ltd., inaugurated the exhibition on Feb. 20, 2020, at Siddhartha Art Gallery, Baber Mahal Revisited. The exhibition will remain open till the Mar. 10, 2020.
