NTB Participates In PATA Dream To Travel Festival

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) participated in the Dream to Travel Festival, launched by the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA). The festival that will run for four weeks is an online event that brings together travel trade businesses worldwide to learn network and celebrate the power of travel during these challenging times. NTB hosted the VISIT Nepal program in the festival, exhibiting Nepal as a touristic destination for wellness and rejuvenation of body, mind, and soul in the new normal. The Nepal special session continued from July 6-10.

New Brand Of Kirtipur: ‘City On The Hill’ Unveiled

Kirtipur City unveiled its brand new “City on the Hill” brand logo amidst a program on July 3, 2020. The brand was unveiled at the Brand Endorsement Program held in Kirtipur. With this, the city has become the “First City with Branding” of Nepal.

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) Imparts Digital Training On Safety Protocol

In an effort to make effective use of the ‘Operational Guideline with Health Protocol for Tourism Sector‘ issued by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation MOCTCA and NTB for the resumption of the tourism sector following the months-long lockdown enforced due to the global pandemic COVID-19, NTB in collaboration with tourism organizations started online training for tourism entrepreneurs from July 2nd.

“Operational Guideline With Health Protocol For Tourism Sector” Released

The “Operational Guideline with Health Protocol for Tourism Sector” was released by Nepal Tourism Board in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) and the private sector and as per the guidelines of Ministry of Health and Population, with the purpose of making tourism operation safe and reliable during COVID-19 pandemic.

CNI Webinar Series 2020: Survival Of Tourism, Hospitality & Aviation

CNI organized a webinar on what Tourism, Hospitality, and Aviation sector are going through during the COVID-19 and lockdown. The panel also discussed about the way out to revive this sector and how are they planning to cope with it. The webinar also focused on discussing COVID-19 mitigation tips on sustaining Tourism, Hospitality & Aviation during partial lock-down/Re- opening scenarios.

Virtual Heritage Tour Of Dhe Village

Dhe: A Moving Story, a virtual presentation of a charming, Shangri-la village in Mustang was presented by Dr. Fidel Devkota. According to Dr. Devkota, exotic culture and nature of this Himalayan hamlet and the livelihood of the people here are threatened by the unsustainable means of the world including climate crisis.
