Government has announced Special Flight Schedule and updated Protocol for Visitors arriving in Nepal. Airlines and travelers are requested to comply with the updated protocol, which includes mandatory Hotel Quarantine in one of Government approved hotels for quarantine.

NTB Facilitates Tourism Sector During Crisis

In a bid to facilitate tourists during the sudden onset of the second wave of the pandemic of COVID 19 and the lockdown that followed, Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) coordinated crisis management and communication activities, as per directives given by the Government.

Clean Up of Everest Region by NA 

An initiation to collect and manage solid waste left over on the mountains has been successfully concluded. Nepal Army in partnership with different government and private companies including Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation ; Nepal Tourism Board started the campaign of cleaning six different mountains of Nepal on April 15,2021. As a result, 27.6 tons of garbage and 4 dead bodies, including two from Everest Camp 4 (8000m were collected and handed over to the concerned agency for its management.
