Nepal – Sri Lanka Virtual Interaction

Nepal Tourism Board organized a virtual interaction between tourism entrepreneurs from Nepal and Sri Lanka to synergize efforts to promote tourism in both countries on Sept. 30. At the program, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Nepal Her Excellency Himali Subhashini Arunatilaka, as well as CEO of NTB Dr. Dhananjay Regmi, Executive Director (CEO), expressed the need for close cooperation for prompt revival of tourism from the respective market in both the countries. Mr. Paddy Paul, a member of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, was also part of the program and participated in the virtual interaction.

Mt.Everest fashion runway 2021

Nepal moved a further step ahead to establishing itself as the sustainable fashion hub by organizing second session of Mt Everest fashion runway, the fashion runway at the highest altitude in the earth on September 23, 2021. K-Films and Kasa wears organized the show and Nepal Tourism Board was the promoter of the show. The show in which numerous international supermodels walked on the ramp, was witnessed by designated guests including royal members of Italy.

COVID 19 – Travelers Update

As per the recent Travel Protocol Released by the Government of Nepal:

– On-Arrival Visa Service and No Quarantine rule applies only to the Fully Vaccinated Travelers.

– Those not fully Vaccinated must obtain Visa before departure from the nearest Nepal Mission and must Quarantine for 10 days after arrival in Nepal.

– For further information and details on the documents required for travelers for entry to Nepal, please check the Protocol dated Oct. 4, 2021.
