5th World Tourism Industry Conference (WTIC 2026)Sunday, June 7th, 2026

NTB participated at the 5th World Tourism Industry Conference (WTIC 2026), held in Seoul and Suwon, Republic of Korea, from 4 to 6 June 2026, in conjunction with the 41″ Seoul International Travel Fair (SITF 2026) organised by the International Tourism Forum (TITF) . Since 2022, TITF has hosted successive editions of WTIC addressing different themes reflecting on different tourism perspective. This year 5th WTIC took place under the theme Living-in-Travel: Long-Stay Tourism as a New Business Frontier from Visitors to Temporary Residents. Mr. Sunil Sharma, Officiating Director represented NTB and made a presentation based on aforementioned theme highlightng global mega travel trend in relevance with Nepal during the august gathering. WTIC 2026 provided a high-level platform to examine long-stay program, address emerging challenges, and advance collaborative approaches for sustainable destination development.
