“Pokhara, Pure as Paradise”Wednesday, July 14th, 2021

Nepal Tourism Board, Gandaki province has launched the new branding of Pokhara, one of the most beautiful, scenic, mesmerizing and attractive tourist destinations of Nepal, as “Pokhara, Pure as Paradise” on Wednesday. Earlier, NTB branded Pokhara, one of the most popular destinations, as Paradise Pokhara.

Speaking at the function, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NTB Dr. Dhananjay Regmi informed that the branding of Pokhara comes in connection of NTB’s wider plan of branding various attractive tourist destinations.
CEO Dr. Regmi further added that the concept of branding plays an important role for the promotion and development of Nepal’s tourism as it helps people to understand the very destination’s nature, socio-economic and cultural aspects entailed to it in clearer and simpler way in domestic as well as international market. He informed that the branding of other places is to be continued in the days ahead.

Similarly, Senior Director at NTB Gandaki Province Kashi Raj Bhandari shared that the new branding of Pokhara was finalized in consultation with the various stakeholders including the firm specializing on branding. He hoped that the government, private sector and media will extend their support for the promotion of new branding of Pokhara in domestic as well as international market immediately following the impact of COVID-19 subsides in the lives of people in near future.
NTB’s first branding destination was Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Gautam Buddha.
