NTB Revives #photoNepal Exhibition Series with ‘Karnali River’ ShowcaseWednesday, February 12th, 2025

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is pleased to announce the revival of its signature #photoNepal exhibition series, which was originally launched in February 2016 as a platform to showcase Nepal’s rich natural and cultural heritage through photography.
Marking this revival, the upcoming exhibition “Karnali River: Photos from Three Countries (China, Nepal & India)” by Nabin Baral will take place on February 13 & 14, 2025, at the Nepal Tourism Board, Kathmandu, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
This exhibition captures an extraordinary 1,080 km journey over 45 days, documenting the Karnali River’s course from the Tibetan plateau in China, through Nepal’s untouched wilderness, and into India. Through stunning imagery, it highlights the river’s ecological and cultural significance.
Speaking about the revival of #photoNepal, NTB CEO Deepak Raj Joshi stated: “Since its inception in 2016, #photoNepal has been a powerful platform to promote Nepal’s beauty and diversity through photography. We are excited to restart this initiative, providing a space for photographers to share their stories and inspire travelers. This revival reinforces NTB’s commitment to showcasing Nepal’s rich landscapes and culture to the world.”
Nepal Tourism Board invites all photography enthusiasts, travelers, and stakeholders to be part of this inspiring visual journey and celebrate the timeless beauty of Nepal’s rivers and landscapes.
