Swayambhu Festival 2025 is set to take place from February 22 to March 1, 2025, at Bhuinkhel Chaur, Swayambhu. This festival aims to promote heritage tourism by highlighting the geographical, religious, cultural, and social identity of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 15.

With Swayambhu Mahachaitya—a UNESCO World Heritage site—as the centerpiece, the festival seeks to enhance cultural tourism by showcasing the region’s historical landmarks, local traditions, and community-driven entrepreneurship.
