Pokhara Connects Directly to Dubai!Thursday, September 24th, 2026

A new milestone for Nepal’s international tourism connectivity as flydubai commenced daily Dubai–Pokhara–Dubai services on 23 September 2026.

Pokhara has taken an important step forward in strengthening its international air connectivity with the commencement of flydubai’s daily scheduled Dubai–Pokhara–Dubai service.
The inaugural flight, operated by a Boeing 737 MAX 8 with a seating capacity of 166 passengers, arrived at Pokhara International Airport with 113 passengers and departed for Dubai with 152 passengers.

The arrival was warmly welcomed with a water cannon salute, traditional khadas and other gestures of Nepali hospitality, reflecting the warmth for which Nepal is known.
The new direct connection links Pokhara with Dubai, a major global aviation hub and through the flydubai and Emirates codeshare partnership, connects travellers to more than 250 destinations worldwide. The inaugural flight was warmly welcomed at Pokhara International Airport in the presence of government officials, Nepal Tourism Board representatives and tourism stakeholders, reflecting the collective efforts to strengthen Pokhara’s international connectivity.

The new service is expected to create greater opportunities to attract visitors from the UAE, the wider Middle East and international markets.
