Nepal has been deeply affected by the recent natural calamity. Lives, homes, and businesses have come to standstill, and livelihoods have been impacted. Our thoughts are with everyone affected and with countless people working tirelessly to support communities and help Nepal recover.

While some areas have been affected, much of Nepal continues to live, work, travel, and welcome visitors and move forward.

And at this difficult moment, we have a simple message for the world:

NEPAL IS NOT CLOSED.

To our friends, visitors, and the global tourism community, your visit means more than a journey. It is a gesture of solidarity. It supports people, sustains livelihoods, and gives support to communities as they recover and move forward.

A dedicated Quick Response Team is operating at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation (MoCTCA). A Tourist Information Desk has also been established at the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) in coordination with the Department of Tourism (DoT), Tourist Police, and the private sector to provide timely information, assistance, and support.

This is a time to stand with Nepal.
