Nepal Showcases Tourism Potential at ITE Hong Kong 2026Sunday, June 14th, 2026

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), along with eight leading travel trade companies from Nepal, successfully participated in the International Travel Expo (ITE) Hong Kong 2026 held from 11–14 June 2026 in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. 

The Nepal Pavilion served as an important platform to promote Nepal’s diverse tourism products and destinations to the Hong Kong market and international travel industry stakeholders. Throughout the four-day event, visitors were introduced to Nepal’s unique tourism offerings, including adventure tourism, cultural heritage, nature-based experiences, pilgrimage tourism, and luxury travel opportunities. Similarly, wellness package was also highlighted in the show by the participating companies which drew significant attention of the visitors of the Expo. 

The participating Nepalese travel trade companies actively engaged with travel professionals, potential partners, and consumers, presenting a wide range of attractive travel packages and customized itineraries designed to cater to different market segments.

As part of Nepal’s promotional activities at the expo, a destination presentation was conducted at the program venue before the audience. The presentation was delivered by Mr. Khem Raj Timalsena, Senior Officer, Nepal Tourism Board, highlighting Nepal’s rich tourism resources, iconic destinations and unique cultural heritage. 

The promotional momentum was further elevated by a spectacular cultural showcase performed live at the event by Hong Kong based Nepali artists. The traditional cultural dances and musical performances offered visitors an authentic glimpse into Nepal’s multifaceted heritage.

Nepal’s participation at ITE Hong Kong 2026 concluded successfully, contributing to the strengthening of tourism promotion efforts in the Hong Kong market and enhancing business networking opportunities for the participating Nepalese tourism stakeholders. Behind the successful participation of the show, the support extended by the Consulate General of Nepal in Hong Kong remained instrumental. 

Nepal Tourism Board remains committed to expanding Nepal’s presence in key international markets and promoting the country as a premier travel destination for global visitors.
