Nepal Tourism eyes more inroads and insights in Canada outbound marketFriday, February 20th, 2026

Nepal Tourism Board organized a Nepal promotion evening on the eve of Outbound Adventure show in Toronto on 19 February 2026 in coordination with the Embassy of Nepa, Ottawa and five participating private companies eyeing at more inroads and insights in Canada Outbound Market.
Speaking to an encouraging assemblage of Toronto based members of travel community, HE Bharat Raj Paudel highlighted Nepal’s priority in informing the Canadian travellers about the improved accessibility to Nepal and visa friendly approach of the government to invrease the number from Canada. NTB Senior Manager Surya Thapaliya presented the diversity of Nepal as destination, improved infrastructure and strong private sector engagement in business and service operation in the last couple of years. Kundan Sharma, Senior Officer summarized the overall objective of organizing the evening in lieu with the mutual networking and business to business ecosystem among the Nepalese and Canadian tourism fraternity.
Canada constitutes a steady back up for the overall arrival from North America region with the mainland arrival hovering around fifteen to sixteen thousand year on year basis. Canada stands as potentially top ten source market due to its strong outdoor adventure seeking cross demographic population.
