Preparation Underway for Participation at ITB, SATTE & OTM 2021Sunday, March 7th, 2021

In the recent new development of vaccination around the world amidst the Covid- 19 pandemic, tourism has started to look positive with tourism fairs and event organizers calling for physical participation. The year saw numerous virtual programs to keep the trade abreast and updated on various tourism fairs, travel shows, presentations, meetings, webinars etc. Taking a leap forward in this situation, NTB is all set to  participate solo and virtually in ITB Berlin Now 2021. The show has offered a platform to make a presentation on Nepal as a tourist destination and share the latest updated information amongst the tourism circle.

Likewise, the Air Bubble Agreement between Nepal and India in December 2020 has shown signs of tourism recovery with Nepal’s physical participation in South Asia’s Travel & Tourism Exchange (SATTE) in Greater Noida, Delhi from 24 – 26 March 2021. The leading travel trade show of south Asia is an annual three day B2B exhibition designed to bring together the key travel industry leaders in the region. Nepal Tourism Board along with Nepali Travel trade will be participating in the show.

On this note, Nepal Tourism Board is also participating in Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) from 19 – 21 March 2021 in Mumbai with Nepali’s trade. The show is a gateway to India’s travel markets and an opportunity to meet face-to-face and build long-term business relations.

All the above programs being held in a long gap has brought a ray of hope and boost confidence of the Nepalese tourism fraternity.
