Nepal Promoted in Istanbul, TurkeySunday, April 16th, 2023
Nepal Tourism Board along with Nepalese tourism companies has participated in 26th East Mediterranean International Tourism & Travel Exhibition (EMITT) in Istanbul, Turkey from 12-15 April 2023.
Organized by Hyve Fuarcilik A.S. with the help and support of ICA Group, Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Turkey, Turkish Airlines and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, EMITT-2023 opened business platform providing new business and cooperation opportunities to the Turkish and global travel sectors. Inviting more than 230 hosted tourism buyers, the exhibition showcased country pavilions of 33 countries, holiday destinations, summer and winter tourism, outdoor tourist destinations, hotels and tourist centres, tour operators, travel agencies and much more.
The beautifully decorated Nepal’s stand during EMITT 2023 was visited by Turkish tour operators, media, influencers and consumers. Nepalese tourism companies participating in EMITT 2023 had an opportunity to market their travel packages amongst potential Turkish travelers and negotiate and make business deals with Turkish tour operators.
Turkey with its large economy and direct flight connectivity from Istanbul to Kathmandu by Turkish Airline has a huge outbound tourism potential for Nepalese tourism industry.
