Branding and Communications Workshop by NTB for Tourism ExecutivesThursday, June 6th, 2024

A half-day workshop “Brand, Communicate, Shine” was organized by Nepal Tourism Board for NTB officials and tourism entrepreneurs on June 6, 2024. The program was conducted by Ms. Mannsi Agrawal, International Corporate Trainer and Communications Coach, well –known figure and media personality in Nepal. 

The workshop focused on individual and organizational branding and effective management of both for best representation online. In addition to the brand value interactions, Ms. Agrawal presented her insights and experiences on development of presentation and public speaking skills for better brand representation. Useful tips included details on audience connection, value of content, content curation, algorithm play, choice of social media platform among others. 

The program was interactive and hands on, and participants expressed that the program was helpful to understand their brand better, including how to develop a good brand and use it for professional and organization growth. They were also most enthusiastic about the session on public speaking and presentation. 

Director of NTB Mr. Mani Raj Lamichhane welcomed the audience and said that the program was organized to synergize efforts among industry players for better organization and destination brand representation through individual efforts. 

Head of Marketing Department Mr. Laxman Gautam appreciated the program outcome and the response of the participants. He said the workshop was insightful and educational in terms of brand promotion and said it helped in building ties with the upcoming leaders of the tourism industry with whom NTB must work for tourism promotion of Nepal. Ms. Archana KC Rana, Manager of NTB, closed the program with appreciation for the presentation by Ms. Agrawal, and the team, participants.
