Nepal promoted in the Travel and Adventure Show, New YorkTuesday, January 27th, 2026

The United States is a highly important source market for Nepal, and with arrival numbers of 112316 in the year 2025, currently stands as the second-largest tourist generating market. .Nepal Tourism Board, as a part of its ongoing promotional interventions in the North America market, participated in the Travel & Adventure Show New York, 24–25 January 2026 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York. Organized in partnership with the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN), the event featured a total of six Nepalese tourism companies – Asian Heritage Treks & Travels Pvt. Ltd, Explore Vacation Pvt. Ltd. Friends Adventure Team Trekking & Mountaineering Pvt. Ltd.
Himalayan Glacier Adventure & Travel Company Pvt. Ltd, Nepal Vision Treks & Expeditions Pvt. Ltd. and Touch Kailash Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd. – showcasing Nepal’s diverse tourism attractions to an enthusiastic US travel trade and travelling public.
Participation in the 2-day event is believed to have contributed to the objectives viz. strengthening Destination Nepal presence in the US market, forging business partnerships with key US travel trade players, and inspiring American travelers to experience Nepal’s diversity. Being and adventure-focused event, the visitors demonstrated a keen interest on Nepal’s adventure products and activities, especially mountaineering and trekking.
Mr. Dadhi Ram Bhandari, Consulate General, Office of the Consulate General of Nepal in New York, visited Nepal pavilion on 24th, the 1st day, and interacted with the participating companies. Areas of cooperation for Nepal promotion, particularly in the East coast states, were discussed. Officials Mr. Udaya Bhatarai and Mr. Pradip Basnet represented NTB in the event.
